Flibe Energy, Inc. (FEI) is thrilled at the US Department of State announcement of the signing of the United States-Singapore 123 Agreement. Section 123 of the U.S. Atomic Energy Act covers the peaceful nuclear cooperation with the US and facilitates technical exchanges, scientific research, and safeguards. The agreement supports Singapore’s efforts to understand and evaluate advanced nuclear energy technologies, including small modular reactors. We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Singapore on this historic milestone. FEI has a long history with Singapore through our partners and interactions with various parties in Singapore over more than a decade and looks forward to potential new opportunities through this 123 Agreement to bring safe and sustainable advanced nuclear energy to Singapore.
